Dallas— In a game that was never in question, the Dallas Mavericks easily beat the Utah Jazz 120-102 last night.
JJ Barea made his return to Dallas sporting the number five jersey (because Monta Ellis is his original number 11) and had a line of 4 pts, 3 ast, and 4 rebs.
Dirk Nowitzki tied with Chandler Parsons to lead the team in scoring with 21 pts.
Al Farouq Aminu had a great game off the bench scoring 16 pts and grabbing 10 rebs.
The Mavs bench altogether played outstanding, outscoring the Jazz 46-27. This is typical of a Rick Carlisle team and will be key to the Mavs prolonged success.
The Mavericks looked good in their first home game. But can they keep it going?
What’s next for Big D:
The next game for Dallas is in New Orleans as the Mavs take on the Pelicans on Saturday night. Tip-off is @ 6:00pm CT. Don’t miss it!
Current Record: 1-1
Thanks for reading.
Stay tuned for Dallas Cowboys talk. Will Romo play? My sources are saying yes, but my gut is saying no. See you next post.
